Sign Dallas Drake! A Drake-Guite-Lappy line would be an awesome, fun, and incredibly likable checking line.

I think this makes sense too. The Avs really need to get players like Statsny and Sakic from being on the Powerplay. He averaged 3:20 SH ice time per game and won 53% of his faceoffs. He could be an injury risk, but the Avs could really use a checking line guy, and this guy is that with the intangibles.

Yes he only played in 60 games last season, but i think his modest salary will be worth the risk.
